What I hold, and what I will not do with it.
The short version: almost nothing, for as little time as possible, and never anything from inside a session.

Who is responsible
David Nagtzaam, trading as Frontier Coaching, decides what is collected here and why. In data protection language that makes me the controller. There is no team, no assistant and no agency, so when you send something here, I am the person who reads it.
The registered entity details are being finalised and will be published here rather than left implied. In the meantime the responsible person is me, and I can be reached through the contact form.
What is collected
If you read the site. Page views are counted without cookies and without anything that identifies you. There is no advertising pixel on this site, no tracking script from a social network, and no consent banner, because there is nothing here that needs consent.
If you apply. Your name, email, role, company and what you wrote in the two open fields. The lawful basis is that you asked me to consider working with you, which the regulation calls steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
If we work together. Your contact details, the invoicing details your finance team needs, and scheduling. That is the whole list.
What happens to what you say in a session
Nothing you say in a session is recorded, transcribed, or entered into any system. There is no client file. My own working notes exist on paper during the session and are destroyed afterwards.
The written summary you receive after each session belongs to you. I do not keep a copy, which means if you lose it I cannot send it again.
Nothing from a session is used as an example, an anecdote, a case study or a post, in anonymised form or otherwise. This is stricter than the coaching profession's norm, and it is deliberate.
I will not confirm to anyone that we work together, including on this website, unless you have told me in writing that I may.
The one limit, stated plainly rather than buried: if I believed someone was at serious risk of harm, or a court with jurisdiction ordered disclosure, I would have to act on that. It has never happened. If it ever did, I would tell you first unless I were legally prevented from doing so.
How long things are kept
- Application form contents
- Deleted within 90 days if we do not start work together.
- Session notes
- Not kept. Working notes are destroyed at the end of each session and the written summary is yours, with no copy retained.
- Email correspondence
- Kept for the duration of the engagement and 12 months after it ends, then deleted.
- Invoices and accounting records
- Kept for 7 years, because tax law requires it. These contain your company name and the fee, and nothing about the content of the work.
Who else can technically see it
Named, because a list of categories tells you nothing useful. These are suppliers running infrastructure. None of them is sent anything from a session, and none of them is permitted to use anything for their own purposes.
- VercelEU and United States
- Hosts this website and serves its pages.
- DirectusEU
- Stores the articles published here. Holds nothing about visitors.
- Vercel AnalyticsEU and United States
- Counts page views without cookies and without identifying anyone.
- OneSignalUnited States
- Delivers the notification email when you send an application.
Where a supplier is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer runs on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. I do not sell anything about you, I do not share it with advertisers, and there is no mailing list to be added to.
What you can ask for
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask me to restrict what I do with it, or object to it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
In practice: email me and I will do it. The regulation allows a month. Given how little exists, it takes about ten minutes, and I would rather answer you than have you wait.
There is no portal for this and no form to download. Ask through the contact form and say what you want.
